I’m back. I’m back. I’m back. I’m actually quite annoyed at myself for having not blogged for this long! I have however been really busy. If anybody is the slightest bit interested in where I’ve been, here’s what I’ve been up to!
I have finished my University course! Handing in my dissertation was the best feeling and I can confidently say, I’m not going to miss education. I did however love the rest of my university experience; being independent, living with friends and obviously the student loan! I now just have to wait to see if the work I have done recently is good enough to allow me to actually become a graduate!
I had a long weekend away to Scarborough, Whitby and Saltburn. The weather was definitely on our side and it was my first time visiting all 3 places which was fun! I very quickly learnt that Scarborough was A LOT smaller than I imagined and Whitby was the opposite. I tried crabbing for the first time ever! I didn’t even believe it was actually a popular thing that most people have done during their childhood but hey, you only have to grow up if you decide to. I also never caught any so I don’t really feel like I’ve missed out.
I have started my new job. I may well have been ridiculously crazy in deciding to start a full time job whilst still writing my dissertation, although I’m glad I did because it helped me to be in a productive frame of mind. My new job is going super well; the training has been pretty intense but I’ve learnt a lot!
I saw The Bodyguard Musical! I had absolutely no expectations for the show as I don’t think I’ve ever seen the film; or at least if I have, I don’t remember it. The show itself however was amazing; Alexandra Burke was a perfect choice for the main role. Rachel John who played Nicki Marron was also ridiculously good! I think Beverley knight is taking over the role as Rachel Marron soon so if you get a chance to see it, definitely do!
I am most likely missing a couple things out. The past 5 or 6 weeks however have been a bit full on at times. I’m glad to be back blogging now though and I plan to blog at least once a week; more than once when my body has adapted to this 9-5 working life.
